Itinerary

08:30 – Departure from Bucharest (Constitution Square)
The group meets the PRO Travel tour escort and boards the comfortable coach, equipped with air conditioning and an audio system, in a cheerful atmosphere. We set off for Craiova for a day dedicated to discovering Oltenia and Romania’s most beautiful Christmas market.

Visit to Samurcășești Monastery (Ciorogârla)
Our first stop is Samurcășești Monastery, one of the most beautiful monastic settlements near Bucharest, founded in the early 19th century by the boyar Constantin Samurcaș. The complex impresses with its Brâncovenesc-style church, refined interior paintings and atmosphere of peace and reflection. It also houses the miracle-working icon of the Mother of God, protector of the monastery, and a beautiful religious-art museum. Free time for photographs and a moment of spirituality.

Continue towards Craiova
During the journey, the guide will provide information about Oltenia, its traditions and local cuisine. Short coffee break en route.

If the traveller withdraws through their own fault, the following penalties apply:
a) 25% after booking and up to 60 days before departure;
b) 50% when withdrawal occurs 60–40 calendar days before departure;
c) 75% when withdrawal occurs 29–14 calendar days before departure;
d) 100% fewer than 14 calendar days before departure or for failure to attend the departure point on the established date and time;
e) 100% at any time for special, Early Booking, Last Minute and City Break offers.

If the minimum number of participants is not reached, the agency may cancel and fully refund all paid amounts by bank transfer.
